We’re New Dawn Fades, a heavy underground band from Philadelphia. We pull from ’70s hard rock, ’80s metal, ’90s grunge, doom and stoner rock, all played with a punk rock attitude. Think Black Sabbath, Black Flag, Danzig, Mercyful Fate, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Corrosion of Conformity and Queens of the Stone Age. Big riffs, loud guitars, heavy grooves, melody and hooks.

In 2026, we self released our debut full length, LORES, which landed at #7 on the Doom Charts for March.

“Already sounds bigger than the rooms they’re playing.” — Dirty Rock Magazine

“An album that sounds like a ‘GREATEST HITS’ package and not just their debut album.” — Outlaws of the Sun
